Homes & condominiums

Luxury Interior Finishing for Homes Across Metro Vancouver

Microcement, decorative plaster, stretch ceilings, architectural lighting, flooring and stair details — delivered as one coordinated interior scope for high-end homes, condominiums and new builds.

Why it matters

Why Homeowners Choose Specialized Interior Finishes

A premium interior is rarely the work of one trade. A seamless microcement floor, a polished plaster feature wall, an illuminated stretch ceiling and a precisely detailed stair all have to meet each other cleanly — and on most projects each is installed by a different specialist, at a different time, with nobody responsible for how they meet.

Luxury Interior brings those finishing trades under one team, backed by 20 years of industry experience in architectural surfaces and decorative finishing. Fewer handoffs, consistent detailing from room to room, and a single point of accountability for how the finished interior looks and performs.

Our process

How a Residential Project Runs

01

Consultation & Site Review

We visit the space, examine substrates and existing conditions, and talk through the finishes you are considering. Site conditions decide what is realistic — that conversation happens before anything is quoted, not after.

02

Samples & Specification

You see physical samples of the actual finish, in your own light. Colour, sheen and texture read very differently on a screen than on a wall. Once approved, the specification is confirmed in writing before work begins.

03

Preparation

The part nobody sees, and the part that decides the result. Floors are levelled, walls are made true, and moisture or movement issues are resolved before any finish is applied. Most finish failures trace back to preparation that was skipped.

04

Installation & Handover

Finishes are installed in sequence, protected while adjacent trades work, and reviewed with you before handover. You receive care and maintenance guidance specific to each finish in your home.

Common questions

Residential Questions We Are Often Asked

Can microcement be used in a bathroom or shower?

Yes. Microcement is applied as a continuous surface with no grout lines, which is exactly why it suits bathrooms and shower enclosures. What makes the assembly watertight is the waterproofing membrane beneath it and the sealer above it — not the microcement itself. That is why substrate preparation matters more in a wet area than anywhere else in the house.

Do I need to move out while the work is done?

It depends entirely on scope. A single feature wall or one bathroom can usually be completed around you. Whole-floor microcement, extensive floor levelling or a full interior renovation is dusty and disruptive, and most clients prefer to be out of the space during those phases. We will tell you plainly which category your project falls into.

What is the difference between Venetian plaster and microcement?

Venetian plaster is a lime-based decorative finish chosen for depth, movement and a polished, almost stone-like appearance. It is primarily a wall finish. Microcement is a cement-based coating chosen for durability and continuity across both walls and floors, including wet areas. They look different, behave differently, and are specified for different reasons.

Do you work with our architect or interior designer?

Regularly. We review specified finishes for buildability, supply samples for approval, and flag where a specification and a substrate are not compatible before installation rather than after. Designers generally find that conversation more useful early than late.
