An interior finishing studio in Metro Vancouver, specialising in architectural surfaces, decorative plaster, ceilings, lighting, flooring and stair detail.
The Brand and the Company
Luxury Interior is the brand we work under. The legal entity behind it is DF Luxury Interior Ltd., registered and operating in British Columbia. Everything on this site refers to work carried out by that company.
The work is grounded in 20 years of industry experience in architectural surfaces and decorative finishing, and in European craftsmanship traditions — lime-based plasters, hand-applied finishes and the patience those methods require.
What We Specialise In
Architectural Surfaces
Seamless microcement for walls, floors, bathrooms and showers, installed over correctly prepared and waterproofed substrates.
Decorative Finishes
Venetian plaster, polished plaster, Marmorino and liquid metal — hand-applied finishes with a depth and movement paint cannot reproduce.
Ceilings & Lighting
Stretch ceilings in matte, satin, gloss and printed finishes, backlit and star ceilings, and linear or cove lighting detailed into the structure.
Flooring & Stairs
Hardwood, engineered hardwood, laminate and vinyl, plus stair renovations, custom nosings, and floor preparation and levelling.
Interior Renovations
Bathroom, kitchen and whole-interior renovations where finishes, tile, flooring and lighting are sequenced as a single scope.
Design & Finish Consultation
Material selection, sampling and coordination with architects and interior designers so specified finishes are achievable on site.
Residential and Commercial, Across Metro Vancouver
We work on private homes, condominiums and new builds, and on retail, hospitality, office and multi-residential interiors — across Vancouver, West and North Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Coquitlam, Surrey, New Westminster, Delta and Langley.
How We Work
Substrate First
Most finish failures trace back to preparation. We assess and correct the substrate before committing to a finish, and we say so when a specification and a surface are not compatible.
Samples in Real Light
Colour, sheen and texture read differently on site than on a screen. Finishes are approved from physical samples in the actual space.
One Team Across Trades
Surfaces, ceilings, lighting details, flooring and stairs are handled by one team, which removes the handoffs where finish quality is usually lost.
Honest Scope
We quote in writing after seeing the space, and we decline work that a substrate, a timeline or a budget cannot support properly.
Questions About Working With Us
Do you have a showroom?
We bring physical samples to your space rather than asking you to judge a finish under showroom lighting. Sample sets can be arranged as part of an initial consultation.
What does “20 years of industry experience” refer to?
It refers to accumulated professional experience in architectural surfaces and decorative finishing that the team brings to this work. It is not a statement about how long DF Luxury Interior Ltd. has been registered.
Do you work directly with homeowners?
Yes, and also with architects, interior designers, builders, developers and general contractors. The process differs slightly depending on who is coordinating the project.
Where can I see completed work?
Our Projects page presents completed work organized by discipline — surfaces and finishes, ceilings and lighting, flooring and stairs, and renovations. Every photograph on this website is of work our own team carried out. We would rather show nothing than publish work that is not ours.
