Architectural lighting is not a fixture you select at the end of a project. It is a channel, a reveal, a shadow gap and a plaster return that have to be set out before the finishes go on. Once a wall is closed and coated, the opportunity has passed.
That is why we design the light alongside the surface it washes. The cove depth is set to the finish that will sit inside it; the reveal is sized to hide the diode at the viewing angle people will actually stand at; the stair channel is built into the structure before the treads land. The result is a room where you see the light and not the source.

The reason integrated lighting so often disappoints is that it is designed separately from the surface it meets. A cove detailed for painted drywall behaves differently once it is finished in microcement; a reveal sized on a drawing looks wrong once Venetian plaster returns into it.
We apply the finishes, so we detail the light to them — microcement, plaster, stone and decorative coatings, with the channel, the return and the shadow gap dimensioned for the material that will actually be there.

Who offers custom lighting integrated with stretch ceilings?
We do. Backlit stretch ceilings, translucent illuminated panels and linear coves are designed and installed as a single assembly with the ceiling system rather than as fixtures added afterward. Electrical connection, wiring and permits are completed or coordinated by licensed electrical professionals where required.
Can stair lighting be integrated with floating steps?
Yes. Floating steps can carry recessed linear LED beneath each tread or within the adjacent wall, detailed during construction so the source stays concealed and only the light is visible. Because the channel has to be built into the structure, this is specified before the stair is installed rather than added later.
When in a project should lighting be decided?
Before finishing begins, and ideally before framing is closed. Integrated lighting depends on channels, reveals and returns that are built into the construction. Once surfaces are coated, adding concealed light means opening them again.
Do you carry out the electrical work?
We design, fabricate and integrate the lighting details. Electrical connection, wiring and permits are completed or coordinated by licensed electrical professionals where required, so the regulated work is always carried out by an appropriately qualified trade.
